About Healthy: Find & Compare Local Medical Centers

Why we built it

Star ratings flatten everything into one number. A 4.6 tells you that people were broadly happy, but not whether the treatments you care about are any good, what a visit costs, when it is busy, or whether it suits your situation. That information is already out there, scattered across thousands of reviews that nobody has time to read.

Healthy: Find & Compare Local Medical Centers reads them for you. Every business page turns the public reviews of one medical clinic into specific, checkable answers. Every ranking compares businesses on the thing you searched for, not just on overall popularity.

What you will find here

• Business pages. Our 0–10 score, what reviewers praise and complain about, the treatments mentioned most and how positively, typical prices, opening hours and the busiest times, amenities with the evidence behind each one, owner responsiveness, and similar places nearby.
• Rankings. "Best" lists for specific treatments in a city or neighborhood, ordered by how reviewers describe them, not by who paid or who has the most reviews.
• Filters. Pages that collect the businesses with a feature people look for, such as evening hours or wheelchair access, backed by listing details and what reviewers report.
• City guides. One page per city with its rankings, neighborhoods and a map.

How it is made

We start from public business listings and the public reviews posted on them. Software reads each review and records what it is about: the treatments mentioned, how the communication, staff friendliness, professionalism, and wait time were rated, costs, waits and any problems described. Those signals are combined into scores and rankings using fixed rules that are the same for every business. The full method, with the actual weights and thresholds, is on How we rank.

The short summaries on business pages (the "About" text, the questions and answers, and the review highlights) are written by an AI language model using only the facts shown on that page. Automatic checks reject text that names review platforms or makes health or safety claims our data does not support. Quotes shown in quotation marks are always verbatim excerpts from real reviews, never generated.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any business we list. No business can pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to have criticism removed, and we do not accept free products or services in exchange for coverage. The site is funded by advertising. Ads are clearly labeled, are served by an ad network rather than sold to the businesses we cover, and have no influence on scores or rankings.

What we do not do

• We do not host reviews or let anyone post them, so there is nothing to buy, fake or bury.
• We do not present other platforms' star ratings as our own. Our score is computed separately and is always labeled as ours.
• We do not publish reviewers' names or full reviews, only short excerpts.
• We do not invent facts. When the data on a topic is thin, we leave the topic out rather than guess.

Keeping it accurate

Pages are rebuilt as new data comes in, and each business page shows when its analysis was last updated. Businesses that have closed are labeled and dropped from rankings. Hours, prices and services can still change faster than any guide, so please check with the business before you go.
