Privacy policy

Healthy: Find & Compare Local Medical Centers is built to need as little of your information as possible: no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no tracking cookies of our own. This policy explains, in detail, the little we do process.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Who we are

This policy applies to us.healthy.tn and all of its pages (the "site"), published by Healthy Int. Assoc. Editorial ("we", "us", "our"). We are the controller of the personal information described here, which means we decide why and how it is processed. For any question about this policy or your information, email contact@us.healthy.tn.

This policy does not cover the websites of the businesses we list, the map services we link to, or any other site you reach from ours. Each of them has its own policy.

The short version

Information we collect

Technical information when you browse

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records details of each request it receives:

Searches on the site

Site search runs inside your browser using an index file downloaded from our server, so your search is not processed by a search service. The words you search for appear in the page address and are therefore recorded in the server logs described above, but we do not store them anywhere else or link them to you.

Messages you send us

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if your email includes it, the content of your message and any attachments, and the technical headers that come with any email. If you are a business owner, this may include your role at the business and documents you send to support a correction.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, and have no way to receive through the site, your name, postal address, phone number, payment details, account credentials or health information. We do not run comment sections or review forms. We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not combine our logs with information from other sources to identify visitors.

Please do not send us health information. We are not a healthcare provider and cannot help with appointments, symptoms or treatment. If you include health details in an email, we will use them only to reply and will delete them as soon as your request is resolved.

How we use information and why

We use information only for the purposes below. Where data protection laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, it is shown for each purpose.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Our scores and rankings are about businesses, based on public information, not about visitors.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. Healthy: Find & Compare Local Medical Centers itself does not set any cookies and does not use local storage to track you. Some third-party features on our pages may set their own:

FeatureProviderWhenPurpose
AdvertisingGoogle AdSense and its partnersOn pages that show ads Serving and measuring ads, limiting repetition, personalization where allowed
Embedded map on business pagesGoogle MapsWhen the map loads Displaying the map; the provider's own preferences and security
Maps on city and ranking pagesOpenStreetMapWhen you open the map Delivering map images; no advertising cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers can block third-party cookies altogether. The site works without them; blocked maps or ads may simply not appear.

Third-party services

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to cap how often you see an ad, to detect fraud and to measure performance. We do not choose which individual ads you see, and we do not send Google any information about you beyond what your browser sends when the ad loads.

Ads load a few seconds after the page, so they never delay the content you came for.

Maps

Hosting and email

The site runs on servers operated by our hosting provider, which stores and processes the server logs on our behalf. Our email provider stores the messages you send us. Both act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with the businesses we list. When a business owner asks for a correction, we do not tell them who else has written to us.

How long we keep information

InformationHow long
Server logsA limited period needed for security and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted or reduced to aggregate statistics that do not identify anyone
Emails and attachmentsUntil your request is resolved, plus a reasonable period for follow-up questions; then deleted unless we need them for a legal reason
Records of privacy requestsAs long as the law requires us to show that we handled them

International transfers

Our service providers, and the map and advertising services described above, may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws differ from yours. Where the law requires it, such transfers rely on recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Businesses and reviewers on our pages

Our pages are built from publicly available business listings and public reviews. We publish facts about businesses and short, verbatim excerpts of reviews, analyzed with automated tools. We do this in our legitimate interest, and the public's, in helping people compare local businesses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights over your personal information:

To exercise a right, email contact@us.healthy.tn. Because we hold so little, it helps to tell us what you are asking about (for example, an email you sent us on a given date). We may ask for information to confirm that the request is yours, and we will reply within the time the law allows, for example one month under the GDPR or 45 days under California law. You will not be treated differently for exercising your rights. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf if they can show your permission.

Notice for US state residents

This section supplements the policy for residents of California and other US states with consumer privacy laws. In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information:

We collect this information directly from you or your browser, for the purposes listed under How we use information, and disclose it only to the recipients listed under Who we share information with. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by these laws, and we do not sell personal information for money. Our advertising partner's use of cookies for personalized ads may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or as "targeted advertising" under some state laws. You can opt out using the links in the advertising section above, or by emailing us.

Notice for the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland

If data protection law in these regions applies to you, we process your information on the legal bases shown under How we use information. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track visitors across websites ourselves, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off in our own code, and the site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. To stop personalized ads, use the opt-out links in the advertising section above, or email us and we will help.

Children

The site is meant for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our servers, logs and mailboxes is limited to the people who need it to run the site. No method of storing or transmitting data is perfectly secure, but because we collect so little, there is little to expose. If a security incident ever affected personal information, we would notify affected people and authorities as the law requires.

Our pages link to business websites, online ordering and booking services, map providers and other sites. Once you leave us.healthy.tn, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how those sites handle your information. Please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change, for example if we add a new third-party service, and the date at the top will show when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will explain it clearly on this page before it takes effect.
